Slow the f*ck down.
When I took my month long break from my secure job, the biggest takeaway was how hard I was driving myself. I realized I wasn't giving my best energy to the things most important to me and it pushed me to examine how I was prioritizing my life.
Why am I pushing myself so hard?
Why aren't I savoring the things I treasure?
What is the root cause of these beliefs?

Initially, I thought I needed to burn the energy and that I needed to let the inspiration flow. Damn, I was wrong. If you haven't watched Hamilton happily dozens of times, I will throw you a bone and tell you that there is another song "You'll never be satisfied" that also spoke to me.
It's time to be present. In the moment. Time to realize that everything I love is already in my possession. Stop chasing the dream and allow myself to enjoy the dream I'm living.

I recorded a grounding meditation to share. If you're feeling stressed, anxious, overwhelmed, or even fatigued, try this meditation! I had a teacher share this meditation with me. It was the first time I tried a meditation and I got it.
You see, I was like most people, struggling to sit in silence. That was until I realized you don't need to sit in silence to achieve balance. Sometimes balance needs some level of engagement. I view meditation as a process of clearing out your internal and external environment so that there is enough clarity to fully see yourself. How you get there is unique to you because you are wonderfully unique.
When my teacher first shared this meditation, I was at the beginning of my conscious spiritual awakening. She said, do this meditation twice daily and it will change your life! I was skeptical though it didn't stop me from trying. A profile of mmt life at the time:
I took life by the reins and shifted my perspective. I feel like I know myself better than I ever have before. It's more than that, I feel like I fully know myself.

The last several weeks have been challenging for many of us as we navigate social distancing guidelines. Layer that against the canvas of life, with its own Pandora's chest of challenges, and its easy to feel out of sorts.

My grandpa passed away 2 Sundays ago. I believe he was preparing me for it. Preparing me so that I could be there for my family and then some during these already difficult times.
More than 6 months ago, he would come through for me in readings. Back then, he was ok. He wasn't hospitalized. I didn't see this coming. If it weren't for these visits from him, I would've been totally surprised. He was testing the waters between physical and spiritual existence for months now.
But he was also helping me in his passing. Helping me transform. Helping me fully embody my beliefs. When I left the hospital, I left angry, disappointed, and frustrated.
We were told my grandpa didn't have much time left and to come see him. When we got there, I can't tell you how many empty scripted responses we received. Where is the humanity in that? We aren't robots, we have feelings and they're there for a reason.
How do you know when to take action and when to pause? How do you know when something is right for you? Not right for your neighbor but right for you? Every single one of us has intuition and it is subtle. If your higher self has to make fireworks to get your attention, you aren't paying attention. Intuition reaches you with tiny tingles in your body, faint sounds that make you question it really happened, and in your dreams. Sometimes it comes through as you just having a feeling that you know something. Pay attention to it. Keep an eye on my blog, I'm going to share more with you.

I've been laying low lately, observing all within my macro and microcosm. I get an urge to say something but then I talk myself out of it.
Let them figure it out for themselves.
They don't need me to tell them.
If I don't say something, someone else will.
Then a friend gave me an intuitive reading. She picked up on my holding back my words. They need to be spoken. I am going through a transformation and speaking my truth is a marquee of the 5D me.
For lifetimes, I've struggled with speaking my truth. I'm learning that it's ok to make mistakes. What's important is that I trust my intuition and it will guide me.
