There is a pattern I see amongst my clients and it is that they don't trust themselves.
Sometimes they don't trust that they trust themselves. I am constantly dancing with trust issues myself. I have moments when I am fully behind my intuition. And it was only a few years ago, I had zero trust in my intuition. I rationalized all of my thoughts and urges. I acted on nothing if I could not find a practical justification. In my head, I had everything to lose if I acted on a whim. Nowadays, that whim can be the difference between the dullest ok life and a fulfilled purposeful life. And because I'm not one for drastic changes, it took me baby steps to get there. If you know my story, I took a mediumship development workshop and then my psychic development journey catapulted me into a spiritual business in less than a year. But I crawled before I walked and I took baby steps before I ran. My baby steps in this story was that I played with a pendulum before I started giving readings. I developed trust with my pendulum before I started giving people readings. So if you're here to develop your spiritual connection and are finding it hard to start because of a lack of trust, I invite you to my newest offering: Pendulum Play Circle. Pendulum Play Circle is a 1 day virtual event on Saturday Jan 28. Check out the link for all of the details. Early bird pricing of $55 ends Saturday Jan 21 after that the price goes up to $111. Reply to this email with any questions. I trust you'll find the answers you're looking for. Salamat xx, Your Medium Mommy
When I worked as a commercial banker, I'd meet with my clients and go over their banking relationship to discuss what was working and what wasn't, then make necessary adjustments for a win-win situation. It keeps you updated on what you're doing and ensures you are in alignment with your values and goals.
Guess what folks - you can do the same with your friends, business partners, and caregivers (with any relationship really). Watch as I give you a starting point to have your own relationship review using meditation and embodied awareness. Let me know in the comments what yawl think! This is a great article on tarot cards from the Los Angeles Public Library:
https://www.lapl.org/collections-resources/blogs/lapl/tarot-cards I wanted to share this article as someone suggested on one of my events that being psychic is fortune telling and that I should conjure winning lotto numbers. So much ignorance in the comment. Plain and simple, it is stereotyping. A fear mechanism of the ignorant. Tarot, and mysticism in general, is absolutely practical! It isn't all spellwork and magic. While the media have often connected psychics with fortune telling, that is only an aspect of energy work. I would even say it is a minor aspect of energy work. My main issue with fortune-telling and predictability is that we all have free will and what you do with the information that comes out of a reading could change the course of events. I want to normalize divination practices. We are all psychic! Psychic abilities are innate in all of us. Being psychic is being sensitive or aware of energy. Energy communicates with us through our clair senses: clairvoyance (clear knowning), clairaudience (clear hearing), clairsentience (clear feeling), clairgustance (clear taste), and clairalience (clear smelling). People think this happens like it does in the movies with fireworks and body twitching of some sort but our intuition acts in subtle ways. Blink and you will miss it. Doubt it and it will disappear. Trusting in yourself is the only way to strengthen it. Personally, my practice leans towards the value of spiritual guidance and its accessibility for all. When I meet with clients, I often share practices (from meditations to journaling) they can do on their own to strengthen their intuition. My purpose is to help people access their intuition and strengthen their connection with Spirit. I haven't done my job if either of us leaves that session with any sense of dependence on the other. You are a sovereign being and life is happening in perfect timing! |
