Dear Mothers,
Do you recognize your greatness? You balance the job of a corporate warrior, caregiver, Uber driver, therapist, housekeeper, and chef. You do it all and you do it well. Others can barely manage one of those roles but not you. While juggling multiple roles is often challenging, it is not without rewards. But before the rewards present themselves, when the work begins, it doesn't get done without your unique style of feminine leadership. Feminine leadership, in its gentle, firm, and loving embrace, is not just a style; it's a guiding light that illuminates the path toward success without sacrificing authenticity or compassion. Let's delve into what feminine leadership truly means for you, the unstoppable force balancing ambition and nurturing with grace.
Feminine leadership is not a compromise; it's a superpower that sets you apart in your journey of excellence. As you navigate the demands of the workplace and the joys of motherhood, remember that your gentle touch, firm resolve, and loving spirit are not just assets—they are the keys to unlocking a leadership style that is authentic, nurturing, and inclusive. In the symphony of your life, let feminine leadership be the melody that guides you to success with grace and authenticity. You are not just a high-achieving working mom; you are a beacon of feminine leadership, lighting the way for those who follow. Embrace it, embody it, and let it be the force that propels you to new heights. Your Modern Matriarch, Krisell Dear mothers,
In the whirlwind of daily life, where chaos and calm coexist, we are the unsung heroes—juggling countless responsibilities while nurturing and guiding our loved ones. In the midst of this beautiful chaos, it's essential to recognize and embrace the unique leadership qualities that make us, as women and as mothers, a powerful force. Self-doubt and impostor syndrome exist among all women when we are literally caring for all of mankind, whether at home or at the office. We possess key leadership traits that enable our success in these situations. I hope what you leave this blog post with is the understanding that it isn't the situation that defines you, it is you that shows up consistently in all of these situations. Feminine Leadership: Picture a garden—a space where growth is nurtured, and each bloom is celebrated. Feminine leadership is akin to cultivating this garden, fostering collaboration, and valuing relationships. As a busy mom, your innate ability to connect with others, empathize, and build a supportive community is a cornerstone of feminine leadership.
Masculine Leadership: Now, imagine a mountain—solid, resilient, and unyielding in the face of challenges. Masculine leadership embodies these qualities, providing a sturdy foundation for decision-making and action. As a tired but tenacious mom, incorporating masculine leadership traits can bring balance and strength to your journey.
In the intricate dance of feminine and masculine leadership, we hold the power to seamlessly weave these qualities into our unique tapestry of leadership. Embrace the collaborative spirit, trust your intuition, and foster emotional connections. Simultaneously, harness your decisiveness, set boundaries, and envision a strategic path forward. In the gentle, firm, and loving space you create, you'll find the strength to lead with authenticity and grace, both at home and beyond. Remember, the world is your canvas, and you are the masterpiece. Your Modern Matriarch, Krisell
There is a pattern I see amongst my clients and it is that they don't trust themselves.
Sometimes they don't trust that they trust themselves. I am constantly dancing with trust issues myself. I have moments when I am fully behind my intuition. And it was only a few years ago, I had zero trust in my intuition. I rationalized all of my thoughts and urges. I acted on nothing if I could not find a practical justification. In my head, I had everything to lose if I acted on a whim. Nowadays, that whim can be the difference between the dullest ok life and a fulfilled purposeful life. And because I'm not one for drastic changes, it took me baby steps to get there. If you know my story, I took a mediumship development workshop and then my psychic development journey catapulted me into a spiritual business in less than a year. But I crawled before I walked and I took baby steps before I ran. My baby steps in this story was that I played with a pendulum before I started giving readings. I developed trust with my pendulum before I started giving people readings. So if you're here to develop your spiritual connection and are finding it hard to start because of a lack of trust, I invite you to my newest offering: Pendulum Play Circle. Pendulum Play Circle is a 1 day virtual event on Saturday Jan 28. Check out the link for all of the details. Early bird pricing of $55 ends Saturday Jan 21 after that the price goes up to $111. Reply to this email with any questions. I trust you'll find the answers you're looking for. Salamat xx, Your Medium Mommy What can I expect during a reading? I'm glad you asked!
Artificial intelligence is looking less like the movie AI with robots and more like an expression or imitation of the way energy works.
Raise your hand if you’ve found yourself thinking of something and then your web ads and internet suggestions are flooded with that very thought. Me too! When it comes to metaphysics, mysticism, spirituality, or plain and simple: energy, what you put your energy into is what you get back. Your thoughts and actions are sending out signals to attract energy that matches your energy. This is the Law of Attraction. Am I telling you that you called into existence all the difficult things you experienced? Yes. Am I telling you that you called into existence all the celebratory events you experienced? Yes. You are the creator of your universe. You are creating everything around you. Until you recognize yourself as the creator, you will create the way boys pee in the toilet: with reckless abandon (clearly I am a mom of boys). There will be times you hit the mark and there will be times you miss. When you recognize yourself as the creator, like mama said “I brought you into this world and I can take you out of it.” You will recognize your power in creation to take the reins on your life. No need for Jesus to take the wheel, you got this. Continue to follow my blog to learn more about the Law of Attraction and how to take control of your energy. Want to work with me? For all of my sessions, I send out a pre-recorded guided meditation for you to listen to right before we meet. I was beginning sessions with this meditation but by giving it to you ahead of time to listen on your time, it allows us to dedicate more of our session to what Spirit has in store for you. Depending on the type of session we have, I may do some channeled writing 10-15 minutes before we meet. Channeled writing is also known as divinely inspired or automatic writing. Often times, I find that this channeled writing addresses what you write in your letter for your intention. This allows us more time for you to dig into the transmission and ask questions. The way I receive messages from Spirit is:
I like to start by allowing the transmission to flow with little interruption. Once the main transmission flows through, I then leave it open for your questions. Then maybe we laugh and cry over what comes through, then the end! The session is recorded and I follow up by emailing you a copy of the recording along with any session notes. Sometimes I include recorded guided meditations or PDFs, depending on what comes through the session. Voila!

This is so incredibly important to me because 90% of people I talk to don't trust themselves and don't know it. I was one of them. Seeking external validation showed up in my life as Being the doting wife and mother even if it meant putting myself last, Taking any and all medication my health care providers prescribed me without question, and spending time on social media even though I felt like everyone was faking it till they made it. In a nut shell, I was a people pleasing robot doing what I thought was right based on "social norms" and it fucking sucked! Cultivating my inner voice helped me set boundaries and find joy in living in a world that loves telling you what to do. Here are my 3 tips to cultivate your inner voice so you can set boundaries and find joy in living. Meditate. Every successful relationship is built on listening. Meditation is just that - listening to your inner voice. Whether you meditate sitting, laying, or moving, spending time listening to your inner voice is necessary especially when you're starting out. Listening is like a muscle and if you haven't been listening to your inner voice, you need consistent practice to build up your capacity to listen. Start your meditation practice distraction free. Observe any thoughts, feelings, or sensations that come up and say 'I release you…' Eventually, you'll clear your mind of random thoughts and can engage your inner voice. Gradually play with lighting, textures, postures, music, and scents to support your meditation practice. Be a curious investigator. This practice was so important for me because I was so used to blindly trusting everyone. When I tried to be super mom and wife at my own expense, I was depressed. I never stopped to ask myself 'why is this important to me?' I just did what generations of womxn were told by society. Start by asking yourself why while centering the questions around your well-being. Why is this important to me? Why do I want to do this? Then work your way through the what's, how's, who's, where's, and when's. In doing so, you're reclaiming your power in the decision process and gathering data to make an informed decision. I'm surrounded by people conscious of their physical health and one day I hear antibiotics really mess up your gut health and it takes a year for it to stabilize 😳 At the time, I couldn't remember if I ever went 12 months without antibiotics. So I started asking my doctors whenever they prescribed antibiotics if it was necessary - and the answer every single time was no 😮 Cultivating my gut health (abstaining from antibiotics unless necessary and eating foods nourishing for my unique gut) has me feeling like my immunity is in the best shape of my life. ***Talk to YOUR doctor if you're considering changing your medication regimen or get a second opinion, either way be a curious investigator. Follow through. Now that you have some data from listening to your inner voice in meditation and being a curious investigator, build trust with your inner voice by putting aligned action behind your data! Show your inner voice you trust it with aligned action to prove it. Start small - what does your inner voice say about how you feel in this moment? What does your inner voice say about what you need? Take aligned action to nourish and support yourself. Cultivating your inner voice isn't a one-and-done thing. Like any relationship - it takes consistency, trust, and time. Commit to yourself and try these 3 tips for 21 days, focusing on one day at a time. -- I created A Gentle Awakening with you in mind based on my experience with 1x1 clients.
