My name is Krisell Valenzuela and I am Krisell Can. Can is an abbreviation of my maiden name and I love the play on words too. It is like the I Am statement but not quite there. It's indicative of where I was in my journey when I decided on the name. I was just blossoming to my gifts but I had a lot of self doubt. No worries, it's a part of the process. It's part of realizing your own power. Krisell Can is a reminder and affirmation that I Can do it. At the same time, it was a pseudonym. Undoubtedly it's me, Krisell is a unique name. However, I was fearful of the acceptance of this part of my life. A pseudonym gave me the opportunity to live an aspect of myself in the open. The truth was, it was in hiding and therefore created a block around me doing the work I wanted so badly to do.

Fast forward to now, I am. I am doing the work. I am authentically me. There is no fear or doubt that I am this person or that I do this work. What keeps me in it is the amazing shift I've experienced in my own life as a result of being open to Spirit and a desire to share that with others.
