When I started my business, I was trying to navigate all of the resources available to me: a website, Facebook, Instagram, Meetup, etc. I created this private Facebook group to create a curated space but for what? I knew I wanted to make my live readings available through the group but what else could I do?
As I realize my purpose, I am defining this space. My purpose is to help others access their spirituality as a tool or resource for self-care and well-being. With that said, I am using this private Facebook group to share resources for self-care based in spiritual practices. I invite people to challenge how they define spiritual. I share this in the context of spiritual being different from religious. I grew up Catholic. Pre-spiritual development I would have snickered at anything tagged to spirituality and religion considering them one and the same. Today, I consider religion as uncompromising, dogmatic structure, and indoctrination. If you are expecting someone to tell you what to believe and how to live your life, this is not the place. This is a space to explore your spirituality and see how it is available to support you in anything that you do. ​Join me. |
